At first I thought this was a model railroad; only one vehicle on the roadway. Very unlike SoCal, but then again so are snowflakes on the 10 in San Berdo.
BTW, great picture Freericks.
Where is this picture taken from? A footbridge? Or vehicle overpass?

Thanks,
The picture is taken from the pedistrian bridge to the eastbound BUSWAY. There is a bus stop just to the right of me out of the picture. I parked at CSLA and then walked over to the combination bus/Metrolink station and got it there.

Yes it is... but oddly I don't see it. It's the one that New York and Greenwood Lake has preserved in their yard in crack town (downtown Passaic). The U34CH was my hometown engine growing up. Oddly though, I still see my old avitar of a Reading T1 at Bellows Falls, Vermont.

You must be referring to Steamtown, back in the day up at Bellows Falls. Now the T1 lives in Scranton. As for the Crack Town, it's only the city I was born in. Both locales are in need of restoration, the same for #2124.

Passaic is beautiful, but the area where the yard is is sadly cracktown. Over by the Lackawanna depot is great.
Yes, it was Steamtown. And believe it or not, I've seen the same engine in Scranton since.
